VEVO has revealed a brand new video for Lana Del Rey‘s cover song Once Upon A Dream from the famous Disney movie starring Angelina Jolie, Maleficent. This remix was made by Young Ruffian and it premiered this week.
Lana Del Rey is reportedly in the frame to sing the theme tune for the next – as yet unnamed – James Bond movie.
Young British star Sam Smith had previously been reported to be the favourite for the job, and to have been in talks with producer Barbara Broccoli but now several sources are reporting that Lana is also under consideration.
A source told The Sun: “Producers know it has to be a great song with a killer vocal to rival the phenomenal success of Adele’s Skyfall.

Monday 18th August sees the release of ‘Ultraviolence’ the second single and title track from Lana Del Rey’s most successful and critically acclaimed album to date. The album debuted at #1 in 18 countries, including the U.K and the U.S, and in the Top 5 of 10 other countries, selling over 1million copies worldwide so far. ‘ULTRAVIOLENCE’ is her second U.K #1 following ‘BORN TO DIE’ in 2012.
Written by Lana and long-time collaborator Dan Heath ‘Ultraviolence’ was produced by Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) and recorded in Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville.
‘Ultraviolence’ is being released on Polydor Records and will be available on digital download on Monday 18th August.
