Lana Del Rey has been busy over the past couple of days. On Instagram, she shared a short video of the all-female band Warpaint singing ‘Love is to Die’ which Lana said she was “transixed by.”

Lana took some time to advertise her friend James Franco’s appearance at Book Soup in West Hollywood on March 6th. Franco was promoting his book ‘Straight James/Gay James‘ which was released in December 2015 in the UK. The book is full of poetry, including some poems that pertain to Lana. (See here).

The singer also posted a photo of herself next to some artwork by Mark Ryden, saying she “finally got to meet [her] spirit animal.” Ryden is an American painter who is paint of the lowbrow art movement.

On March 5th, Lana attended the launch of Bruce Wagner’s novel “I Met Someone,” held at Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. Wagner is an American novelist and screenwriter, known most recently for the film ‘Maps to the Stars’ directed by David Cronenberg. The pair had some photos taken together, one of which Lana posted on her Instagram.
