Lana Del Rey will be honoured with the Trailblazer award at Billboard‘s upcoming Women in Music event, which is set to take place on December 11 in New York City.

Lana will be in attendance to accept to award her award at the 10th annual Billboard Women in Music ceremony. The award recognises the inspiring and interesting path of Lana’s career, and was awarded to Hayley Williams of Paramore last year.

The awards themselves will air on Lifetime on December 18.

“Lana Del Rey has done things her way from the moment she first burst on the scene, and continues to make brave and bold choices that defy convention,” said Janice Min, co-president and chief creative officer of Guggenheim Media’s Entertainment Group, which consists of Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter. “She’s a trailblazer from her music to her mystery to her multitude of other interests. She keeps everyone awaiting her next move.”

The same event will see Lady Gaga honoured as Woman of the Year, Selena Gomez honoured as this year’s Chart Topper, Demi Lovato honoured as this year’s Rulebraker, and Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard given the Powerhouse award.
